Role overvieuw
We are seeking a talented Mechatronic System Engineer with a strong affinity for Scanning Probe Microscopes, Mechanical Vibration Attenuation, or Cryogenics to lead our R&D efforts in enhancing our cryogenic Vibration Isolation System (cVIS). As the driving force behind this project, you will be responsible for translating concepts into prototypes and Minimum Viable Products (MVPs). Working closely with our team of physicists and research instrument engineers, who possess extensive expertise in engineering for cryogenic environments, you will manage development projects and ensure technology objectives are achieved within our established roadmap and timelines.
Responsibilities
To excel in this role, you should be a proactive professional with a solid academic background in Mechatronic Engineering and a passion for working with physics, cryogenics, or vibration attenuation. Your experience as a Mechatronic Engineer and project manager will be crucial. You must be adept at engaging in technical discussions and leading teams of engineers, leveraging your hands-on experience in similar projects. We value well-organized individuals who are self-driven and thrive in a small team environment with a flat hierarchy and ample room for innovative initiatives.
Your profile
- MSc in Mechatronic Engineering or equivalent.
- Professional experience managing Mechatronic projects with a small team.
- Passionate about tackling challenging engineering problems.
- Self-organized and objective-oriented, thriving in a small team of experts with freedom to operate.
